Last NASA SLI Launch
In early April, our NASA Student Launch team conducted launch operations Huntsville Alabama, with NASA.
Our 23-pound rocket lifted off mid-day Saturday carrying a simulated glider, which unfortunately was not released due to operation issue. Watch the livestream here!
Our team recently completed the last document for the NASA SLI competition.
Final Launch of our 2022-2023 season in Huntsville, Alabama
From April 12th to 15th, NASA hosted the SLI Launch week in Huntsville, Alabama, which our entire team attended. The event started on Wednesday with hardware checks and ended on Saturday with the final launch. On Thursday, a Launch Readiness Review presentation took place, followed by a team social event that provided an opportunity for teams to interact and network. On Friday, our team participated in team pictures and the rocket fair, where we had the pleasure of meeting Homer Hickam, an author and former NASA engineer, who autographed one of our rocket fins! The launch on Saturday was a success, and the entire week was a remarkable experience for our team!
